Privacy Policy

Effective date: 29 October 2026

CKV Media (“CKV Media”, “we”, “us”) is a web, software and AI studio in Louisville, Kentucky, operated by Carl Kuhl V. This policy explains what information we collect through ckvmedia.co, our client portal, and the internal tools we use to run the business, and what we do with it.

What we collect

When you contact us or ask for a demo. Your name, business name, email address, phone number, and anything you write in the form or message.

When you respond to one of our ads. If you submit a lead form on Facebook or Instagram, Meta shares the details you entered with us, such as your name, email and phone number.

When you book a call. The name, email and time you choose, and any notes you add.

When you are a client. Contact and billing details, project files and messages you share with us, and records of invoices and payments. Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.

When you give us your phone number. Your mobile number, and the messages between us. We use it to call and text you about what you asked us for — see Text messages below.

When you sign in to the client portal. Your email address and the cookies needed to keep you signed in.

When we research local businesses. We may collect publicly listed business information, such as a business name, town, trade and public phone number, from public directories to offer our services.

How we use it

  • To reply to you, schedule calls, and send proposals or demos you asked for
  • To deliver, host and support the work you hired us for
  • To send invoices and keep business records
  • To keep our sites and portal secure and working

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.

Text messages (SMS)

If you give us your mobile number — on a form, when you book a call, or when we speak — we may text you about the work you asked us about: a reply to your enquiry, a link to the few questions we ask before building a demo, a confirmation or reminder for a call you booked, or an update on work in progress. We do not send bulk marketing blasts, and we do not text numbers we found in a directory listing without you having asked us to get in touch.

  • Message frequency varies — it depends on what you asked for and what stage the work is at.
  • Message and data rates may apply. Those are between you and your mobile carrier.
  • Reply STOP to any message to opt out, and we will stop texting that number. Reply HELP for help, or use the contact form on ckvmedia.co.
  • Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are never shared with anyone. The sharing described in the next section does not include them: where a provider helps us actually send a message, it may only handle it to deliver that message, and for nothing else.

Opting out of texts does not cancel anything else. We can still email or call you about work in progress, and you can ask us to stop that too.

Who we share it with

Only the service providers we use to run the business, and only as far as each one needs: website and database hosting, payment processing (Stripe), scheduling, email, and Meta for ad lead forms. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

Google user data

CKV Media uses an internal application, “CKV Agents”, that connects to Google accounts owned by CKV Media and Carl Kuhl V (Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive, Google Sheets and Google Docs). It is used only to organize our own email, calendar and files: sorting and labeling messages, preparing draft replies for Carl to review, tracking deadlines and scheduling, and keeping our own business records. It is not offered to the public.

CKV Media's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically:

  • Google user data is used only to provide these features to the account owner.
  • It is not sold, not used for advertising, and not transferred to others except as needed to provide those features, to comply with the law, or with the account owner's consent.
  • No person reads it except the account owner, unless needed for security or to comply with the law.
  • It is not used to train general-purpose AI models.

This application processes Google data using AI language models from Anthropic and xAI, under their commercial terms, only to carry out the tasks above.

Access can be removed at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

How long we keep it

We keep inquiry and lead information while there may still be a business conversation, and client and billing records for as long as tax and accounting rules require. You can ask us to delete your information at any time, unless we are required to keep it.

Your choices

You can ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing us at the address below. If we call or message you and you would rather we did not, tell us and we will stop.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards, including encrypted connections, access controls and limited access to data. No system is perfectly secure.

Children

Our services are for businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update it on this page and change the effective date above.
